Tim specializes in both graphic and web design education, as well as film, digital video, video-game design, and theater, with a balanced approach to both technology and aesthetics in design. Tim has been with Bluegrass Community and Technical College since 2005, currently serving as a tenured Associate Professor in the Information Management and Design program. In 2012, he completed his Master's program at the University of Kentucky Graduate School in Art History. His area of specialization is inter-war commercial (graphic) art, particularly the Bauhaus Institute and the Constructivism movement.

Tim is a veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve, an alumni of Lafayette High School and member of the UK Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. In his rare free time, Tim enjoys fund-raising work, art shows, museums, NFL football, creative writing, restoring his 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT, history, 3D animation, film-making, game design, reading just about anything, and (of course) video-games, graphic design, and web design.
